TICKS & FLEAS |

|
Summertime is a great time for outdoor fun with
your pet, but also a time when pets can bring unwanted guests indoors!
Fleas and ticks can be extremely harmful to both pets and humans - and
can breed out of control in your home. These extremely
tiny, wingless creatures attach themselves to mammals and birds and live
off the blood of their victims.
Flea infestation is fairly easy to detect. If your pet begins to scratch
and shake more than usual, and/or you begin to notice small gnat-like insects
hopping around your floor or attaching to your socks or other clothing, you
could have a flea problem.
On the other hand, if your yard is infested with ticks,
you may not know it until a family member or pet has been bitten - as ticks are
extremely small in size and, therefore, highly undistinguishable from other small
insects commonly spotted around the house.
To prevent flea or tick
infestation, be sure to keep your pets and your home clean at all times
and to check your pets' skin and fur often. And, because pets and children spend a good deal of time on the grass, we
strongly recommend regular lawn treatments. Most importantly, if you
suspect your home has been invaded by fleas or ticks, make an appointment
immediately with an Argonaut pest control expert. Our treatment is
thorough, environmentally-friendly, and 100% guaranteed.
